Finance & Taxation Compliance The Ministry of Finance (MoF) on July 20, 2022 has issued a notification to amend the rate of central excise tax on the motor spirits commonly known as petrol by amending the notification no. 10/2022 – central excise dated June 30, 2022.

The following amendment has been made in the above said notification:

• In serial no. 01, which specifies Motor Spirit commonly known as petrol, column (4), which specifies rate has been substituted by “NiL”.
