The Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) on July 22, 2022 has issued Notification regarding filing E-nomination.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Members can file their e-nomination online via Universal Account Number on EPFO official website at epfindia.gov.in.
• For members, filing an e-nomination through UAN requires only self-declaration is required and there is no need to submit any physical documents or approvals while filing or revising their e-nomination.
• No deadline for filing e-nomination has been fixed, its not mandatory for availing any advance claims.
• Expeditious settlement of Member Pension Claim through online and providing EPF/EPS/EDLI benefits to eligible nominees on death of member without visiting offices of EPFO or attestation by employer has been enabled
