The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) on September 05, 2022, notifies the Food Safety and Standards (Prohibition and Restrictions on sales) Second Amendment Regulations, 2022 to further amend the Food Safety and Standards (Prohibition and Restrictions on sales) Regulations, 2011.
The amendments are as follows-
•In the Food Safety and Standards (Prohibition and Restrictions on sales) Regulations, 2011, in regulation 2.3 relating to “Prohibition and Restriction on sale of certain products”, in sub-regulation 2.3.14, in clause (11), for the words Multi-source Edible Vegetable Oil” wherever they occur, the words “Multi-source edible oil” shall be substituted.
They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
