The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on September 06, 2022, issued its response to the back-reference received from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) regarding its earlier recommendations on "Enabling Unbundling of Different Layers Through Differential Licensing" dated August 19, 2022.
In a letter dated August 02, 2022, the Department of Telecommunications (DOT) referred to TRAI's suggestions on "Enabling Unbundling of Different Layers Through Differential Licensing" for further consideration.
After careful consideration, TRAI has produced its final response to the back-reference, which reiterates its prior suggestions. The Authority's opinions have been posted on the TRAI website, www.trai.gov.in.
