The Pollution Control Board, Assam (PCBA) on September 07, 2022, issued a notification directing all Cement manufacturing units operating in the state of Assam to apply for Registration through the centralized EPR portal. A public notice regarding the requirement of registration was already issued by the Board vide No. WB/T-298/21 22/52 dated July 18, 2022.
The registration must be done within 15 days from the date of issue of this notice on the specified website https://www.eprplastic.cpcb.gov.in/plastic
Brand owners falling under the Micro and Small Enterprises Category, as per the criteria of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India, are exempted from obtaining the said Registration.
