Industry Specific Compliance The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) on July 13, 2022 has issued amendment in PMRTS licenses (other than UL) for procurement of Telecommunication equipment.

The following has been amended namely: -

• Sub-clause 37.19 under Part-IV which states Security Conditions, the licensee earlier needed permission from Designated Authority for upgradation of existing Network, but now it needs permission for upgrading and expanding the existing Network utilizing the Telecommunication Equipment not designated as Trusted Products.
