The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) on September 13, 2022 has issued Notification regarding Change in contract specifications of Gold Futures & Options contracts.
The Following has been stated namely: -
• Gold Mini Futures and Options contracts traded on the Commodity Derivatives segment of NSE, members may kindly note that the changes in contract specifications as specified in the below-mentioned NSE circulars would be applicable to all Gold Mini contracts expiring from December 2022 onwards
• The following circulars need to be used for reference
1. NSE Circular No. NSE/COM/53629 dated September 9, 2022
2. SEBI circular nos. SEBI/HO/CDMRD/DOP/CIR/P/2019/135 dated November 14, 2019 regarding modifications in the contract specifications of commodity derivatives contracts
3. SEBI/HO/CDMRD_DOP/P/CIR/2021/592 dated July 08, 2021 regarding review of advance intimation timelines for modifications in the contract specifications of commodity derivatives contracts.
