The Ministry of Finance (MoF) on September 16, 2022, issued a notification to amend notification no. 18/2022-Central Excise, dated July 19, 2022, in the exercise of the powers conferred by section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 read with section 147 of the Finance Act, 2002.
The following amendments have been made:
• In the Table, against S. No. 1, for the entry in column (4), the entry “Rs. 10,500 per tonne” has been substituted.
• In the Table, against S. No. 2, for the entry in column (4), the entry “Rs. 5 per litre” has been substituted.
This notification will come into force on September 17, 2022.
