The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) on September 13, 2022, notified that The Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) First Amendment Regulations, 2022 will further amend the Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) Regulations, 2011.
The amendments are as follows-
•In regulations 2.4, after sub-regulation 2.4.38 relating to ‘Mixed Millet Flour’, the 2.4.39 FERMENTED SOYBEAN CURD AND FERMENTED SOYBEAN CURD (made with S. thermophillus + L. bulgaricus) sub-regulation shall be inserted.
They shall come into force on April 01, 2023.
