The Labour, Skill Development and Employment Department, Gujarat on September 17, 2022, issued the Gujarat Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) (Amendment) Rules, 2022 to further amend the Gujarat Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2003.
The following amendment has been stated:
In rule 24, after sub-rule (1), the following proviso has been added, namely:
"Provided that if no order for compliance/ registration certificate is communicated to the applicant within thirty days from the date of receipt of the registration application, the permission applied for by the said application shall be deemed to have been granted."
These rules will come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
