Commercial ComplianceThe Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution (MoCAFPD) on September 30, 2022 has issued the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Amendment (Amendment) Rules, 2022 to further amend The Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011. This has come into force on September 30, 2022.

The following has been stated namely: -

• Rule 1(2) which states “Date of Enforcement” has been amended, the Rules, shall now come into force from December 01, 2022.
