Labour ComplianceThe Government of Bihar on September 30, 2022, revised the minimum rate of wages and Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) for the 69 Scheduled Employment under the provisions of the Minimum Wages Act, 1948.

The following revised rates have been stated:

The total rate of wages for Unskilled workers is 373.00 per day, for Semi-skilled workers is 388.00 per day, for Skilled workers is 472.00 per day, for Highly Skilled is 577.00 per day, and for Supervisory/Clerical is 10688.00 per day. 

The payment of Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) on the basis of the average index of January-June., 2022 will be payable at the aforesaid rates from October 01, 2022.
