The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) on September 29, 2022 has issued the Draft Central Motor Vehicles (……Amendment) Rules, 2022 to further amend the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989.
The following has been stated namely: -
• In Rule 115A which states “Emission of smoke and vapour from agricultural tractors, power tillers, construction equipment vehicles and combine harvesters driven by diesel engines” the following has been amended namely: -
“In table 1, in the heading “Applicable with effect from”, for the words and figures, “1st October, 2022” the words and figures “1st January, 2023” shall be substituted.”
