The Ministry of Agriculture and farmers Welfare (MoAFW) on September 30, 2022 has issued the Fertiliser (Inorganic, Organic or Mixed) (Control) (Fifth) Amendment) Order, 2022 to further amend the Fertiliser (Inorganic, Organic or Mixed) (Control) Order, 1985. This has come into force on September 30, 2022.
The following has been stated namely: -
• In clause 20C which states the specifications in respect of bio-stimulants has been amended namely: -
“(a) in sub-clause (4) for the words “two years” the words “three years” shall be substituted; (b) in sub-clause(5), for the word, figures and letters “30th September, 2022” , the word, letters and figures “31st March,2023” shall be substituted .”
• In Form G-3 of the Principal Order, in the portion of the area marked as ** occurring after item 5, for the words, figures and letters “up to 22nd day of February, 2023”, the words, figures and letters “Upto 22nd day of February, 2024” shall be substituted.
