Industry Specific ComplianceThe Government of Andhra Pradesh on October 22, 2022, notified that The APERC Renewable Power Purchase Obligation (Compliance by purchase of Renewable Energy/Renewable Energy Certificates) Regulations, 2022, will further amend The APERC Renewable Power Purchase Obligation (Compliance by purchase of Renewable Energy/Renewable Energy Certificates) Regulations, 2017.

The following amendments have been made-

•Regulation 3 defines Renewable Power Purchase Obligation (RPPO).

•Regulation 4 defines Certificates under the Regulations of the Central Commissions.

•Regulation 5 defines State Agency.

•Regulation 6 defines Eligibility and Registration of Certificates.

•Regulation 7 defines Consequences of Default.

•Regulation 8 defines Saving.

•Regulation 9 defines Power to Remove Difficulties.

It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the official Gazette.
