The Government of Bihar on September 30, 2022, revised the Variable Dearness Allowance for Papad Industry, Sailars employment, Agarbati Industry, Employment of Safaies Karamcharis have been fixed/revised in the scheduled employment under the Minimum Wages Act 1948.
The revised rates are-
•For Unskilled workers it is Rs.357 per day.
•For Semi-skilled workers it is Rs.353 per day.
•For Skilled workers it is Rs.456 per day.
•For Highly Skilled workers it is Rs.556 per day.
•For Clerical/Supervisory workers it is Rs.10272 per month.
The payment of variable Dearness Allowance on the basis of the average index of January – June will be payable at the mentioned rates from October 01, 2022, and after that increase or decrease in the amount of Variable Dearness Allowance will be based on the average of All India Consumer Price Index number for every six months and will be applicable after the expiry of three months after the said period of six months.
