The Government of Goa on October 07, 2022, notified that the Goa Legal Metrology (Amendment) Rules, 2022 to further amend the Goa Legal Metrology Rules, 2011.
The following amendments have been made-
•Amendment has been made to Schedule II which specifies Licencing fees and renewal fees for manufacturers, repairers, or dealers of weights and measures.
•Amendment has been made to Schedule III which specifies the Fee payable for verification and Stamping of Weights and Measures, Weighing and Measuring Instruments.
They shall come into force from September 01, 2022.
