The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) on October 06, 2022, issued an order regarding the extension of Phase-II of the Grid Connected Rooftop Solar programme in continuation to OM of even no. dated March 08, 2019, regarding the issuance of administrative approval for Grid Connected Rooftop Solar Programme Phase-II. It has been amended from time to time based on the feedback received from the stakeholders.
The Rooftop Solar Programme Phase-II has been extended till March 31, 2026, without any additional financial implication i.e., within the originally approved total outlay of Rs. 11,814/ crore for both component A and component B of the programme.
