Labour Compliance The Government of Tamil Nadu on October 11, 2022, issued the list of public holidays for the year 2023.

The following have been stated:

• The Public Holidays are declared under the Negotiable Instruments Act, of 1881.

• The Government of Tamil Nadu has directed all the offices under the control of the Government of Tamil Nadu to be closed on the dates specified in the notification (except Annual Closing of Bank Accounts on 01.04.2023) and all Saturdays and Sundays in the year 2023.

The List of Public Holidays is mentioned in the Appendix.
