Industry Specific ComplianceThe Government of Karnataka on October 13, 2022, notifies that The Karnataka Municipalities (Amendment) Act, 2022 to further amend the Karnataka Municipalities Act, 1964.

The following amendment has been made-

•Section 387 which specifies the Power of the Commissioner to seize the diseased animal, noxious food, etc. shall be omitted.

•The Karnataka Municipalities (Amendment) Ordinance, 2022 (Karnataka Ordinance 03 of 2022) is hereby repealed.

It shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from August 12, 2021.
