The Government of Chhattisgarh on September 29, 2022, revised the minimum wage rate for the scheduled employment as there is a revision in the Variable Dearness Allowance (V.D.A.) payable with effect from October 01, 2022.

•The revised wage rate for employment in loading & unloading in goods sheds, parcel offices of railways, other good sheds, go-downs, warehouses, etc, and other similar employment, docks and ports, passenger goods and cargo carried out at airports (both international & domestic) are mentioned in the document attached.
•The revised wage rate for employment in sweeping & cleaning excluding activities prohibited under the employment of manual scavengers and construction of dry latrines (prohibition) act, 1993 are mentioned in the document attached.
•The revised wage rate for employment in watch & ward is mentioned in the document attached.
•The revised wage rate for employment in stone mines is mentioned in the document attached.
In the state of Chhattisgarh, areas "B" includes Raipur and Durg-Bhilai Nagar, all other areas, places, and cities are under classification "C."
