Industry Specific Compliance The Ministry of Labour and Employment on October 14, 2022, hereby appoints November 01, 2022, as the date on which the provisions of the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948, namely: -

•Sections 38 to 43 and sections 45A to 45H of Chapter IV

•Sections 46 to 73 of Chapter V

•Sections 74, 75, sub-sections (2) to (4) of section 76, 80, 82 and 83 of Chapter VI

It shall come into force in all the areas of Chengalpattu and Karur districts, in addition to the already notified areas of the said districts, in the State of Tamil Nadu.
