The Department of Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare (DoAFW) on October 12, 2022 has issued corrigendum to the Meghalaya Agriculture Response Vehicle Scheme.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The Clause on Financial Plan in Quantum and Nature of Financial Assistance, The EMI support to the beneficiary will now be 25% of the EMI for 13-24 months. Furthermore, a moratorium period of two (2) months shall be applicable at the beginning of the loan term.
• Under the Financial Aid Disbursement method, the time limit of 30 days has been removed instead, the Down-payment support from the Department of Agriculture and Farmer's Welfare shall be transferred to the department's account in the bank after the receipt of loan confirmation from the bank.
• Beneficiary Evaluation Mechanism After the end of the submission deadline, District Agriculture Officer of all districts shall send all the received applications along with the enclosures to the Directorate of Agriculture immediately for evaluation by the 'State Evaluation Committee’.
