The Karnataka Government on October 17, 2022 has issued the Karnataka Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Act, 2022 to further amend Karnataka Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The following has been issued on October 17, 2022.
The following has been amended namely: -
• Rule 16(b) which states “Suo Moto Registration”, the following has been inserted namely: -
“(ba) the details of input tax credit in respect of the said supply communicated to such registered person under section 38 has not been restricted”
• Section 38 has been substituted namely: -
“Communication of details of inward supplies and input tax credit”
• Section 41 has been substituted namely: -
“Availment of input tax credit”
