The government of Jharkhand on November 11, 2022, issued a notification inviting objections to Jharkhand Motor Vehicle (Amendment) Rules, 2022.
The general public that within 30 days from the date of publication of Jharkhand Motor Vehicle (Amendment) Rules, 2022, the affected person can send his objection and suggestion related application to the Transport Department's email- [email protected]
The following has been amended-
•Under Rule 4, the test fee fixed for acceptance in the learner's license is deleted.
•Under Rule 4(2), the prescribed fee for checking for acceptance of a driver's license is deleted.
•(vi) In the light of Section-28 (b) of the Central Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, in place of the prescribed fee of Rs.150.00 (with surcharge) for appeal under Rule 20 of the Jharkhand Motor Vehicle Rules, the fee of Rs.25.00 (with surcharge) is substituted.
•Under Rule 30, the prescribed fee for acceptance of the conductor's license is deleted.
•In the light of Section-38(g) of the Central Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, in place of Rs.120.00 (with surcharge) for appeal under Rule 37 of the Jharkhand Motor Vehicle Rules, Rs.25.00 (with surcharge) is being substituted.
