The Government of Andaman and Nicobar on October 25, 2022, issued a notification regarding the list of Public holidays for the year 2023 in the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar.
• The list of holidays has been divided into 2 groups List of Public Holidays and a List of restricted holidays for the year 2023.
• List of Public Holidays for the year 2023 is as follows: -
1. Republic Day on ‘January 26, 2023’.
2. Holi on ‘March 8, 2023’.
3. Ram Navami ‘March 30, 2023’
4. Good Friday, ‘April 07, 2023’
5. Id-ul-Fitr on ‘April 22, 2023’
6. Buddha Purnima on ‘May 05, 2023’
7. Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid) on ‘June 29, 2023’
8. Muharram 'July 29, 2023’
9. Independence Day on ‘August 15, 2023’.
10. Onam on 'August 29, 2023’.
