Labour Compliance The Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoL&E) on December 15, 2022, issued a notification to declare services of the industries engaged in the Banking industry to be public utility services.

The following has been stated namely: -

• In exercise of powers under the Industrial Disputes Act of 1947, the Central Government declared the services of the said industries to be public utility services.

• This shall be for a period of six months with effect from December 15, 2022.
