The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) on December 21, 2022, issued Draft Food Safety and Standards (Vegan Foods) Amendment Regulations, 2022 to further amend the Food Safety and Standards (Vegan Foods) Regulations, 2022.
The following has been amended namely: -
• Regulation 4 which states “Labelling and display requirement” has been substituted to new Logos which shall be on every package of vegan foods, after the approval.
