The Government of Punjab on January 06, 2023, published the Punjab Liquor License (First Amendment) Rules, 2023 to further amend the Punjab Liquor License Rules, 1956.
This shall come into force on January 06, 2023.
The following has been amended namely: -
•In Rule 36-A which states “Sale price, license fee and quota of PML, IMFL and Beer” in sub-rule (3), in clause (i), in the table, under the column titled “Minimum Retail Sale price”, in the last row, for the letters, signs, and figures, “EDP x 1.75/12”, the following words, letters, signs, figures, and brackets shall be substituted namely:-
“EDP x 1.75/12
EDP x 1.25/12 (for Imported Foreign Liquor-BIO Brands)”
