Commercial Compliance The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on January 24, 2023, issued an amendment in the import policy condition of Urea [Exim Code 31021000] in the ITC (HS) 2022, Schedule - (Import Policy).

The following has been amended-

Fertilizer Marketing Entities (FMES), authorized by the Department of Fertilizers, have been allowed to file Bills of Entries at Indian ports to import Urea (for agriculture purposes) on Government accounts.
