CBIC notified regarding the Foreign Exchange Rate for Imported and Exported Goods

Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on February 02, 2023, issued a notification regarding the rate of exchange of conversion of foreign currency for imported and exported goods

This is in supersession of the Notification No. 05/2023-Customs(N.T.), dated January 19, 2023

This shall come into effect on February 03, 2023

Schedule I provides the Rate of exchange pertaining to the import and export of goods of one unit of foreign currency equivalent to Indian rupees of the following foreign currency: -

(i) Australian Dollar

(ii) Bahrain Dinar

(iii) Canadian Dollar

(iv) Chinese Yuan

(v) Danish Kroner

(vi) EURO

(vii) Hong Kong Dollar

(viii) Kuwait Dinar

(ix) New Zealand Dollar

(x) Norwegian Kroner

Schedule II provides the Rate of exchange pertaining to the import and export of goods of 100 units of foreign currency equivalent to Indian rupees of the following foreign currency: -

(i) Japanese Yen

(ii) Korean Won
