The University Grants Commission (UGC) on February 03, 2023, issued a notification regarding MOOCs to be offered by UGC, CEC, IIM-B, NPTEL, and IGNOU on the SWAYAM Platform for January Semester 2023.
The following have been stated namely: -
The UGC has enclosed the list of MOOCs that are ready to be offered by UGC, CEC, IIM-B, NPTEL, and IGNOU on the SWAYAM Platform for January Semester 2023 and may also be seen at the SWAYAM Portal at:-https://swayam.gov.in.
Higher Education Institutions (HEI) are requested to get these MOOCs approved and adopted through their statutory bodies as per the University Grants Commission (Credit Framework for Online Learning Courses through Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) Regulations, 2021.
Students and learners are requested to enroll for these courses in large numbers and benefit from credit transfer from their concerned HEls.
