The Government of West Bengal on February 01, 2023, issued a notification regarding the service of Certificate of Enlistment (trade license) through the e-District portal instead of the Silpasathi portal
This has a reference to Notification No. 419/MSME&T dated December 19, 2022, and the Notification of this Department vide No. 2400-T&CP dated December 29, 2022
This shall come into effect from February 02, 2023
The following have been stated namely: -
• It states that due to the problems faced by common citizens in obtaining a Certificate of Enlistment (Trade License) from the Silpasathi portal, it has been decided that the service will be obtained exclusively from the e-District portal w.e.f. February 02, 2023, instead of the Silpasathi portal until further orders and till the problems faced by the citizens in obtaining a Certificate of Enlistment (Trade License) through the Silpasathi portal are resolved.
