The Government of Tripura on February 07, 2023, issued a notification regarding granting a Paid Holiday on the account of General elections
The following has been stated namely: -
• It grants a paid Holiday to all the employees of Government Offices, Courts, Educational institutions, Financial institutions, Commercial establishments, and other institutions in the state of Tripura on February 16, 2023 (Thursday) to enable them to exercise their right to vote.
• It states that the employee/ wage workers whose name appears on the electoral roll can enjoy special casual and will be granted paid leave to exercise their voting rights if they are working outside the constituency
