Municipal Corporation Dehradun, Uttarakhand, on January 27, 2023, issued a public notice directing the street vendors/ Shopkeepers to maintain proper Litter/ garbage/dustbins in their premises.
The following have been stated namely: -
• It directs the Street vendors/ Shopkeepers to maintain sufficient capacity for Litter/ garbage/dustbins in their premises.
• It further states that the litter/ garbage/ dustbins shall be disposed of by the Municipal corporation.
• It states that in case of non-compliance with this direction, challan proceedings will be implemented by the municipal corporation of Dehradun against such individual/institution or shops
