The Finance Department, Madhya Pradesh on February 27, 2023, issued a notification regarding an amendment to the Madhya Pradesh Work Charged and Contingency Paid Employees) Pension Rules, 1979.
This amendment shall be deemed to have come into force on January 30, 1996
The following have been amended namely: -
• In Rule 6 which states “Commencement of qualifying service” after sub-rule 2 the following shall be added namely: -
“(3) A service made before 1st January 1974, on the provisions of any regular pensionable post for any temporary employee, without any interference, provided that such service is not less than 6 years shall be counted as pension suppose that such service has been done on a regular basis”
