The Government of Kerala on March 02, 2023, issued the notification regarding the revised working hours for outdoor workers.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The working hours of outdoor workers have been rescheduled in the wake of the scorching summer.

• The new schedule will consist of 8-hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm

• For employees who work in shifts, their schedules have been modified to end at 12 noon and resume at 3 pm

• This does not apply to workers who do not have exposure to sunlight

This will be effective from March 02, 2023.
