The Government of Karnataka on March on March 04, 2023, published the Draft Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (Scheme of Evaluation) (Amendment) Rules, 2023 to further amend the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (Scheme of Evaluation) (Amendment) Rules, 2017
These shall come into force from the date of their final publication in the official gazette
The following has been amended namely: -
• In Rule 6 which states “Awarding of Grace marks at result compilation stage”
i) in sub-rules (1), for the words “two subjects”, The words “three subjects”, shall be substituted.
ii) in sub-rule (2), for the words “five percent”, the words “ten percent”, and for the words “two concerned subjects”, the words “three concerned subjects”, shall be substituted.
Any objection or suggestion which may be received by the State Government from any person with respect to the said draft before the expiry of the 15 days from the date of this publication will be considered.
