The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, (MoAFW) on March 09, 2023, published the Draft Insecticides (Fifth Amendment) Rules, 2023 to further amend the Insecticides Rules, 1971
These Amendment Rules shall come into force on the date of their final publication in the Official Gazette
The following has been amended namely: -
• In rule 10 which states “Licences for sale etc. of insecticides” in sub-rule (1A), in the first proviso, for the figures, letters, and word “31st December 2022” the figures, letters, and word “31st December 2023” shall be substituted.
Objections or suggestions which may be received from any person in respect of the said draft rule before the expiry of the thirty days from the date on which copies of this notification as published in the Gazette of India and made available to the public shall be considered by the Central Government
