The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on March 15, 2023, issued a notification to amend notification no. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.), dated August 03, 2001, related to the fixation of Tariff Value for Edible Oils, Brass Scrap, Areca Nut, Gold, and Silver.
The following has been amended:
• Table 1 which specifies the traffic values of Edible Oils and Brass Scrap has been substituted.
• Table 2 which specifies the traffic values of Gold and Silver has been substituted.
• Table 3 which specifies the traffic values of Areca Nut has been substituted.
This notification will come into force with effect from March 16, 2023.
