The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on March 15, 2023, issued a notification regarding the application for a grant of renewal of recognition of AMC Repo Clearing Limited.
The exchange hereby grants renewal of recognition to the said clearing corporation for one year commencing from January 17, 2023, and ending on January 16, 2024 subject to the condition that the Clearing Corporation shall comply with the conditions as may be prescribed by rules or specified by the Securities and Exchange Board of India from time to time.
Further, the Clearing Corporation shall not undertake any activity except that of clearing and settling of transactions in the repo and reverse repo in the debt securities that are dealt with or traded on a recognized stock exchange.
