The Government of Uttarakhand on March 06, 2023, issued a notification to fix the State Consultative Price of sugarcane for the crushing season 2022-23, payable by all the sugar mills of the state.
The following rates have been fixed:
• For early species, the rate fixed is Rs. 355/- per quintal.
• For common species, the rate fixed is Rs. 345/- per quintal.
The rates fixed for the crushing season 2022-23, the sugar mills of the state should make payments to the farmers and the information about the payment should be made available to the government on a monthly basis.
