The Revenue Department, Manipur on February 14, 2023, issued the Manipur Land Revenue and Land Reforms (Leasing Out of Government Land) Rules, 2022.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The Power of the Government –
1. The Revenue Department shall have the power to lease out Government land for the purpose of industry or for any purpose of public utility to certain entities.
2. Subject to the condition that:
a. Land revenue shall be paid by the lessee as per the prevailing rate of land revenue
b. The monthly rent fee, in any case, may be reviewed every three years
