The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) on March 23, 2023, issued the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (Transaction of Business at its meetings) Amendment Regulations, 2023 to further amend the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (Transaction of Business at its meetings) Regulations, 2010.
The following amendments have been stated:
In regulation 16 which specifies ‘Reimbursement of expenses’, for the words “sitting fee of rupees four thousand”, the words “sitting fee of seven thousand and five hundred rupees” has been substituted.
They shall come into force on March 23, 2023.
