The Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoL&E) on March 24, 2023, issued a notification to enforce certain provisions under the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948 in all the areas of Kallakurichi district, in addition to the already notified areas of the said district, in the State of Tamil Nadu.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The following provisions have been enforced namely: -
o Sections 38 to 43 and sections 45A to 45H of Chapter IV
o Sections 46 to 73 of Chapter V
o Sections 74, 75, sub-sections (2) to (4) of section 76, 80, 82, and 83 of Chapter VI.
• This shall come into force on April 01, 2023
