The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on March 28, 2023, issued the update on the Guidelines for Net Settlement of Capital Market segment and Futures & Options (F&O) segment upon expiry of stock derivatives.
The following clarification has been provided with respect to Voluntary Auction: -
• Clearing Member active in both the Capital market and F&O shall upload the request for voluntary auction either from Cash or F&O extranet. If the request is uploaded in both Cash and F&O segments, the request in the Cash segment shall be considered.
• Clearing Member active exclusively in either Capital market or F&O shall upload the request for voluntary auction from Cash or F&O extranet respectively
• The settlement type and settlement number in the request shall be that of the Normal market irrespective of the obligation in Cash or F&O physical segment and the series in the request shall be EQ only.
