The Government of Andhra Pradesh on March 28, 2023, issued an amendment to the Andhra Pradesh Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Rules, 2010.
The following has been amended namely: -
• Rule 10 which states “Reimbursement of per-child expenditure by the State Government” sub-rule (6) has been substituted namely: -
“The reimbursement amount of Per Child Expenditure to the school will be done by parent from the amount they receive under Ammavodi scheme at the end of the Academic Year.In case the parents do not pay that amount, Government will pay to the school deducting that amount from the Ammavodi amount of the subsequent year”
