Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Karnataka on March 29, 2023, published the Karnataka Transparency in Public Procurements (Amendment) Ordinance, 2023 to further amend the Karnataka Transparency in Public Procurements Act, 1999

This shall come into force at once.

The following has been amended namely: -

• in section 6 which states “Procurement Entities to follow Procedure” in the first proviso, for the words and figures “Rs.50.00 Lakhs”, the words and figures “Rs.1.00 crore”, shall be substituted.
