The Government of Kerala on March 29, 2023, issued a notification regarding the Extension of the Deadline for PAN-Aadhaar Linking to June 30.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Individuals can link their PAN card and Aadhaar until June 30th with a penalty of ₹1,000
• To check the Aadhaar linking status, one can visit the 'Link Aadhaar Status' option under Quick Links on incometax.gov.in.
• If the Aadhaar is already linked to the PAN card, a message stating 'your PAN is already linked to the given Aadhaar' will appear
• If the Aadhaar is not linked, the process can be completed by selecting the 'Link Aadhaar' option
• If the PAN card is not linked with Aadhaar by June 30, it will become invalid.
