The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on March 29, 2023, issued a circular regarding the Revised Regulatory Framework for Urban Co-operative Banks (UCBs) – Net Worth and Capital Adequacy
These instructions shall come into effect from March 31, 2023.
The following has been stated namely: -
• This has a reference to para 7 of the circular DOR.CAP.REC.No.86/09.18.201/2022-23 dated December 01, 2022, on ‘Revised Regulatory Framework for Urban Co-operative Banks (UCBs) – Net Worth and Capital Adequacy
• In the above-stated circular where the date of commencement was April 01, 2023, it shall be substituted as March 31, 2023.
• It states that all other instructions of the circular shall remain unchanged.
